Bristol Water 'Apprentices of the Year'

Luke Mayo and Martin Harris finished first and third in an Apprentice of the Year competition run in Bristol, with competition from recruits at Rolls Royce, Airbus and the MoD at Abbey Wood.

Both Luke and Martin have had a carefully designed set of training from a first year of full-time college, followed by on-the-job training with mentors and weekly further education.

Sam Payne arrived at Bristol as an enthusiastic 16-year-old and has become an instrument technician in less than ten years, something that would have been unheard of 20 years ago.
