Ensuring the water sector is resilient
The publication by Ofwat (Tuesday 1 December) of the report of the Resilience Task and Finish Group is a significant step for the sector as we seek to ensure that our services are resilient, now and in the future.
We are pleased that the report recommends a water and wastewater resilience action group to take forward an on-going discussion on this key topic.
We look forward to discussing with Ofwat and all the sector's stakeholders the establishment of this action group.
No one organisation can address the challenge of resilience by themselves, but working together we can ensure that customers continue to get the services they need and expect.
