HBF and Water UK publish building protocol
Water UK and the Home Builders Federation (HBF) have agreed a protocol regarding water infrastructure in contaminated land.
Published this week, the guidance is aimed at developers, self-lay organisations, water companies and consultants involved in planning, designing and constructing water mains and/or services in brownfield sites.
This is the first protocol to emerge from the closer working relationships that have been established between the two organisations to address areas of common interest. Water UK looks forward to further collaboration with the HBF on issues relating to infrastructure development.
