The Water Industry has developed this Occasional Guidance Note (OGN) in order to assist with the identification of confined spaces within the industry, aid the assessment risk and the development of suitable and safe working methods. This guidance is not exhaustive and cannot predict all possible scenarios; it does not remove the obligation for organisations to undertake their own risk assessment.
