Water UK responds to announcement of Innovation in Water Challenge winners

Responding to the announcement of the Innovation in Water Challenge winners a Water UK spokesperson said:

“Innovation is at the heart of the water industry and we are delighted to see such a diverse array of projects win funding from the Innovation in Water Challenge. From using artificial intelligence to monitor sewer networks to converting ammonia into a green hydrogen fuel, these projects will bring tangible benefits for customers and the environment.

"We’re also really excited to see funding awarded to the UK Water Sector Innovation Centre of Excellence. This ‘virtual hub’ will not only promote collaboration between water companies but will embed transformational thinking throughout the whole sector."
