Young trainees at Sembcorp Bournemouth Water

Five new apprentices have joined Sembcorp Bournemouth Water (SBW) as part of the company's annual recruitment scheme.

Left to right: Matt Dear, Charles Fishlock, Grace Lunn, Jack Ricketts and Arthur Selby will now undertake a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) programme, or another accredited qualification, as well as on-the-job training.

The five trainees work in different parts of the business including network, water supply, leakage and finance.

Last year SBW was awarded the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) gold standard. The company's commitment to on-going training and professional development played a major role in the re-accreditation.
